Lydia holds a masters degree in environmental management from the Yale School of
Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a B.A. in environmental studies, focus on

Lydia has a variety of experience in project management. While at Yale, Lydia was a
member of a land consultant team for a regional land trust, drafting a management
plan for a newly-acquired easement property.

She also was part of a team providing recommendations to the Nature Conservancy-
Panama on the management of the La Amistad Biosphere Reserve. Lydia has two
papers published on this project in a forthcoming special issue of the Journal of
Sustainable Forestry, of which she was also a primary editor.

Lydia has also served as a part-time project associate with the Northern Rockies
Conservation Cooperative (NRCC) in Jackson, where she focused intensively on a
project titled "Sustaining Jackson Hole", which is an annual, data-driven,
comprehensive, community-based effort to answer the question, “What legacy do we
want to leave to future residents of Jackson Hole?” Lydia’s role in the project involved
logistics, data collection and analysis, and report-writing. In addition to her work with
Sustaining Jackson Hole, Lydia’s additional responsibilities for NRCC included grant-
writing, marketing, and web design and maintenance.

In her free time, she enjoys climbing, biking, and skiing.
