Mission Hewitt Ladd Inc. is a management consulting business based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, specializing in real estate development, homeowners’ association management and economic advice for new business and energy initiatives.
Management
Laura has served in an advisory capacity to Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal, the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, Hillwood Development Company, and a family office with more than $100MM in assets under management.
Laura serves in a professional capacity on four Homeowners Association Boards at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole, Bar BC Ranch, Bar B Bar Ranch and Alpine Meadows. She holds either a Director or Officer role on each of these boards.
Laura is a Trustee of the Wyoming Retirement System and the Chair of the Investment Committee. She is an emeritus board member of the Wyoming Women’s Foundation and the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation.
Laura has worked on a variety of real estate development projects in large ranch, mixed use/residential and resort developments in Texas, Nevada and Wyoming. She led the re- structuring and execution of the whole ownership residential sales program at the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole and continues to serve in an advisory role to the project. She serves as an owners’ representative to a conservation ranch development in the Texas Hill Country.
From 2006-2010, she served as an Energy and Economics Advisor to Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal. In this role, she was responsible for developing energy positions based on an assessment of the regulatory, private and public finance markets and the competitive and political landscape for specific energy initiatives. Analyses focused on economic drivers and cost implications for transitioning to a lower carbon energy environment. Laura has specific expertise pertaining to risk management for carbon capture and sequestration and wind energy economics.
Laura has nearly 20 years of experience in finance, strategic planning, marketing and project management. She received a Bachelor of Administration cum laude from Pepperdine University and a Masters of Business from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
She is an avid alpine skier and marathon runner. She, her husband, Ted, and their dog, Tasman, live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
